    Description

    Our manufacturing client seeks a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support high-volume invoice processing and ensure timely, accurate payment of vendor bills. The role will leverage strong Excel skills, perform 3-way matching, and maintain robust data entry standards in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Efficiently process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

    + Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents to validate payment requests.

    + Utilize advanced Excel functions to organize, analyze, and reconcile accounts payable data.

    + Maintain accurate records of transactions, ensuring proper documentation for internal controls and audit readiness.

    + Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.

    + Assist with AP month-end closing, account reconciliations, and preparation of reports as needed.

    + Adhere to departmental best practices for data entry, verifying information quickly and precisely.

    + Support continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and collaborate across teams in a manufacturing setting.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Proven experience in high-volume accounts payable processing in manufacturing or related industries.

    + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).

    + Demonstrated ability to perform 3-way matching of PO, invoice, and receiving documents.

    + Superior data entry speed and accuracy skills.

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    + Experience with ERP or accounting systems preferred.
