Description

Robert Half is partnering with one of our clients that is looking for a medical biller to join their team! This is a great opportunity to join a growing local practice. Please apply if you have previous medical billing experience in Modernizing Medicine!

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage medical billing tasks, ensuring all claims are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.

• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure prompt resolution.

• Utilize electronic medical records systems to maintain and update patient billing information.

• Communicate with insurance companies and patients to address billing inquiries and discrepancies.

• Reconcile account balances to ensure accuracy and identify any inconsistencies.

• Prepare and distribute invoices and statements for patient accounts.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline billing procedures and improve efficiency.

• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and policies related to medical billing and accounts receivable.

• Generate regular reports detailing accounts receivable status and progress.

• Assist with audits and provide documentation as requested.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable.

• Prior experience in utilizing Modernizing Medicine.

• Strong understanding of medical billing processes and terminology.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with insurance companies and patients.

• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
