Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Billerica, Massachusetts. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of financial operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth processing of vendor payments and invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure proper entry into the accounting system.

• Verify invoices for correct coding, approvals, and complete supporting documentation.

• Assist in executing weekly check runs and resolving vendor payment discrepancies.

• Organize and maintain accounts payable files, vendor records, and related documentation.

• Support month-end closing activities by preparing accounts payable reports and reconciliations.

• Collaborate with the accounting team on various administrative and clerical tasks as required.

• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve invoicing issues and inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounts payable practices. Requirements • Minimum of two years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

• Proficiency in processing invoices and managing accounts payable systems.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

• Familiarity with coding invoices and performing vendor reconciliations.

• Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.

• Competence in handling check runs and preparing payment schedules.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
