    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis in Golden, Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to manage a wide range of accounting operations, including payroll, financial reporting, and budgeting activities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing accounting and intercompany transactions, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of all financial processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage monthly close processes, ensuring timely completion by the 15th of each month.

    • Document and maintain detailed accounting procedures and workflows.

    • Handle operational accounting tasks, including accounts payable and payroll for approximately 19 employees.

    • Prepare financial reports and collaborate with budget managers on budgeting and forecasting activities.

    • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and other financial records.

    • Oversee intercompany transactions and provide support for subsidiary creation.

    • Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

    • Support financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

    • Perform general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.

    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve accounting processes and reporting.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in accounting roles within manufacturing environments.

     

    • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and ability to adapt to other accounting systems.

    • Experience with intercompany transactions and subsidiary accounting.

    • Ability to handle payroll operations for small to medium-sized teams.

    • Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

    • Skilled in bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries.

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
