    Description

    + Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure using Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.

    + Deploy, manage, and optimize Meraki MX, MS, MR, and MV devices through the Meraki Dashboard.

    + Implement and support VPNs, SD-WAN solutions, wireless networks, and network segmentation.

    + Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.

    + Manage network security including ACLs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and best-practice configurations.

    + Maintain network documentation: diagrams, IP addressing, configurations, and standards.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.

    + Plan and execute firmware upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management for Cisco and Meraki hardware.

    + Support network monitoring tools and respond to alerts to ensure uptime and reliability.

    + Provide after-hours support for critical issues or scheduled maintenance as needed.

    Requirements

    + 3–7+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer.

    + Strong proficiency with Cisco IOS/NX-OS: routing, switching, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, STP, EtherChannel, QoS.

    + Proven experience deploying and managing Meraki MX/MS/MR solutions at scale.

    + Knowledge of firewall configuration, VPN technologies, Cisco ASA, or Meraki MX security appliances.

    + Familiarity with SD-WAN, cloud-managed networking, and site-to-site topologies.

    + Experience with network monitoring tools (Meraki Dashboard, SolarWinds, PRTG, LogicMonitor, etc.).

    + Understanding of network security, Zero-Trust concepts, and compliance best practices.

    + Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + CCNA, CCNP, or Meraki certifications (CMNA, CMNO) strongly preferred.

    + Experience supporting multi-site, distributed enterprise networks.

    + Knowledge of Azure/AWS networking, load balancing, and cloud integration is a plus.

    + Scripting/automation skills (Python, Ansible) are a bonus.
