Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Assistant for a contract role with our client in Farmington, CT. If you possess strong analytical skills and a passion for accuracy, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team in a respected organization.

Responsibilities:

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

+ Reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion

+ Prepare and maintain financial records and reports

+ Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes

+ Assist with expense reports and vendor communications

+ Perform data entry and general administrative tasks within the accounting department

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

+ Requirements

+ Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

+ Proven experience in an accounting support role

+ Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency required)

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

+ Excellent organizational and communication abilities

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
