    BIM Specialist – Flexible Hybrid Schedule | Raleigh-Durham Area

     

    Are you ready to take your BIM expertise to the next level? We’re looking for a BIM Specialist to join a dynamic team supporting the design and construction of complex mechanical systems—including industrial piping, HVAC, and high-purity installations. This role is critical in ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality project delivery.

    What You’ll Do

    + Develop and manage BIM models for mechanical systems across industrial, commercial, and high-purity projects.

    + Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to integrate piping, HVAC, and utility systems accurately.

    + Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between disciplines using Revit and other BIM tools.

    + Generate construction documents and shop drawings directly from BIM models to support fabrication and installation.

    + Maintain BIM standards and workflows aligned with a design-build approach.

    + Provide 3D visualization and technical input during planning and construction phases.

    + Mentor team members on BIM tools and best practices.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software.

    + Strong understanding of mechanical systems (piping, HVAC, high-purity installations).

    + Excellent communication skills for collaboration with engineers, contractors, and clients.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 2–5 years of BIM experience in mechanical contracting, HVAC, or industrial piping projects.

    + Knowledge of fabrication software is a plus.

    + Optional: AutoCAD Fabrication CADMEP 2024+, Point Cloud Handling

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
