Pole Line Design Engineer - Remote
Job Description
We are seeking an engineer with expertise in 35 kV pole line design and coordination. This role involves client-facing responsibilities and acting in a leadership capacity on projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the design efforts of a multi-person team, with substation design experience being advantageous.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and coordinate design efforts for 35 kV pole line projects.
+ Act as the primary client-facing representative for engineering projects.
+ Manage and guide a multi-person design team to ensure project objectives are met.
+ Utilize PLS-CADD software for design and analysis purposes.
+ Provide support and expertise in substation design as needed.
Essential Skills
+ 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
+ Proficiency in 35 kV pole line design.
+ Experience with PLS-CADD software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Substation design experience is preferred but not required.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license is not required but may be beneficial.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with travel required less than 5% of the year. While candidates in the central or eastern time zones are preferred, other time zones will be considered.

This is a Contract position based out of Dublin, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $73.00/hr.
