    We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, execution, and quality assurance of professional survey services. The Survey Project Manager will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting business development initiatives in collaboration with Survey and Market Leaders across the Region and Division.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead and manage project tasks, schedules, and resource allocation.

    + Monitor project budgets and analyze profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates, and utilization.

    + Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and coordinate deliverables.

    + Stay informed on industry trends, technology advancements, and survey-related tools and equipment.

    + Drive innovation to deliver value-added solutions.

    + Collaborate with the Survey Service Leader to establish and maintain procedures and quality standards for the survey team.

    + Ensure consistency and efficiency in survey deliverables across the local team.

    + Partner with Survey Service Leader and Market Leaders on staffing, workload management, and utilization planning.

    + Work with division and market leadership to expand the organization’s land survey presence locally and nationally, focusing on strategic pursuits of large-scale projects.

    + Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise and contributing to revenue growth.

    + Foster a strong, positive team culture aligned with division goals and core values.

    + Ensure adherence to company policies, practices, and values within the survey service.

    + Lead by example—demonstrating sound judgment, integrity, professionalism, and transparency.

    Essential Skills

    + Professional Survey License required; non-licensed candidates will be considered based on relevant experience.

    + Comprehensive knowledge of land surveying practices and experience supporting civil engineering projects.

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in the land surveying industry.

    + Proven project management expertise.

    + Strong verbal communication skills and ability to exercise independent judgment.

    + Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Expertise in survey-related technology and equipment.

    + Experience in business development and revenue growth strategies.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Austin, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
