    Call Center Agent – VCA West Los Angeles

    **Pay Rate:** $20–$24/hour (based on experience)

    We’re seeking a **personable, professional, and service-oriented Call Center Agent** to join our team and help us bring this mission to life.

     

    Why This Role Matters

     

    As the face of VCA, the Call Center Agent plays a key role in creating a positive experience for every client. You will help build trust and confidence in our hospital while supporting the smooth operation of daily activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Serve as the first point of contact: greet visitors, answer calls, and guide clients and pets to exam rooms.

    + Support the front office team as needed.

    + Schedule and confirm appointments.

    + Place outbound calls for follow-ups and reach out to prospective clients.

    + Present and explain fees, including processing payments.

    + Recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.

    + Educate clients on general animal care and non-medical pet topics (e.g., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).

    + Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.

    + Assist with hospital maintenance, including keeping the facility clean and safe inside and outside.
