    Health Information Management Technician (Medical Records Clerk)

    Shifts Available:

    + 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM CST

    + 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST

    Breaks:

    + 30-minute lunch

    + Two 15-minute breaks daily

    + Overtime: May be available based on workflow

    About the Role

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Management Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the accurate and efficient handling of medical records and related documentation. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    + Preparing, scanning, and indexing documents

    + Retrieving and reconciling accounts

    + Answering phones and providing general support

    + Performing clerical and technical duties related to health information management

    + Ensuring quality review and proper sequencing of paper documents

    Key Skills & Experience

    + Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

    + Knowledge of health information management processes

    + Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    + Experience with document indexing and scanning

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Evansville, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
