TEKsystems is currently seeking a Project Manager for a local onsite opportunity in Kansas City.

Description

• Lead end-to-end planning and communication for offers, focused on intake through launch, stabilization, and post-mortem.

• Build and manage integrated timelines, critical path, and risk/issue logs across Marketing, Product, Retail, Care, Digital, Engineering, IT, and Network Operations (NOC).

• Facilitate go/no-go readiness reviews; coordinate incident command and escalation if needed.

• Ensure feature flags, merchandising rules, pricing/eligibility logic, and partner channel integrations are accurate and synchronized.

• Establish drumbeat communications (status, risks, KPIs) to executives and LOB stakeholders; provide real-time launch dashboards.

• Document post-launch retrospectives; publish learnings and update the promotion readiness playbook.

• Confirm change windows and freeze windows; validate flags, pricing, merchandising, and content publishing.

• Coordinate with NOC for capacity and performance monitoring; stand up war-room bridge with Engineering/IT/Care/Retail.

• Track real-time telemetry (error rates, drop-offs, activation failures); drive triage and comms.

• Publish hourly status; execute contingency plans or rollback criteria if thresholds are breached.

• Capture incidents and learnings for post-mortem.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years project/program management experience in telecom, technology, or complex multi-system launches.

• Proven success coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors across Marketing, Technology, and Network Operations.

• Strong grasp of telecom stack and customer journeys: activation, number porting, billing/rating, device provisioning, eSIM, order orchestration.

• Experience with readiness/go-live processes, incident management, and production change controls.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management; comfortable presenting to leaders.

• Data-driven decision-making; able to define KPIs and interpret operational impacts.

• Planning/Delivery: Jira/Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project, Workfront/Aha!

• Collaboration: Teams, SharePoint, Miro

• Data/Reporting: Tableau or Power BI; SQL basics a plus

• Network/Tech Interfaces: Familiarity with NOC processes, feature flag systems, CI/CD release calendars, and API integration governance

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Overland Park, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $57.00/hr.
