    Position Overview

    TEKsystems is seeking an additional deskside technician to support a large‑scale enterprise device refresh project. This role requires a professional, personable individual who can interact effectively with end users at all levels. The technician will assist with hardware and software troubleshooting, device imaging, and deployment activities throughout the refresh cycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide deskside support for end users during an enterprise‑wide technology refresh.

    + Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and related equipment.

    + Perform imaging, configuration, and deployment of new devices.

    + Assist users with setup, data transfer, and transition to refreshed systems.

    + Maintain a professional and customer‑focused approach when interacting with end users.

    + Document work performed and escalate issues when necessary.

    + Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

    Required Skills

    + Strong understanding of Windows and general desktop support practices.

    + Experience with hardware troubleshooting and device repair or replacement.

    + Ability to perform imaging and deployment tasks.

    + Solid customer service and communication skills.

    + Ability to think through problems logically and guide users through solutions.

    Preferred Skills

    + Familiarity with enterprise deployment tools and imaging processes.

    + Experience supporting end users in a professional environment.

    This is a Contract position based out of Dayton, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
