A large Beverage company in Corona, CA is hiring a System Administrator II —the highest technical support layer for their global IT infrastructure. This role is a direct permanent hire and is a great long term Hybrid Remote opportunity!

Job Description:

+ Provide operational support for 600 Windows Servers (Windows Server 2016 and newer) and 120 SUSE Linux servers (SLES 12 and SLES 15), including patching, performance monitoring, and ensuring service availability.

+ Manage and upgrade VMware VCenter (v7+) and 40+ ESXi hosts.

+ Administer Omnissa Horizon VDI pools and Remote Desktop Services (RDS).

+ Handle Tier 3 escalations and resolve complex incidents and requests.

+ Perform root-cause analysis and service restoration using tools for backup, restore, failover, log interpretation, and performance monitoring.

+ Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for system administration tasks to meet security and compliance requirements.

+ Manage and upgrade Dell EMC Unity storage arrays.

+ Collaborate with development, security, and project teams to implement new systems and services.

+ Create automation scripts and processes to improve scalability and efficiency.

Qualifications:

+ 5-7+ years as a System Administrator with deep expertise in Windows Server 2016 or newer.

+ 5+ years managing and troubleshooting Linux environments, specifically SUSE Linux (SLES 12 and SLES 15) at scale.

+ Hands-on experience with VMware environments and storage arrays, including VCenter, ESXi hosts, and Dell EMC Unity systems.

+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies (Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Print Services, File Shares).

+ Ability to write advanced PowerShell automation scripts.

+ Experience administering Omnissa/VMware Horizon VDI.

+ Familiarity with Cisco UCS hardware and SAN storage solutions.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $123000.00/yr.
