    TEKsystems (Dallas, TX)


    Role: Electrician

     

    Hours: 6 PM - 10 PM

     

    Schedule: Monday - Friday

     

    Employment type: 3 month contract

     

    Weekly hours: 20 - 30 total

    THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME ROLE

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs during evening hours.

    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes.

    • Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide timely solutions.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2–3 years in electrical work (commercial or residential).

    • Familiarity with evening shift work and flexible scheduling.

    Certifications:

    • State-specific electrician license (Texas, California, Ohio).

    • OSHA 10/30 preferred.

    Scope of Work:

    Electricians will be responsible for tasks that support kiosk and network setups across multiple sites. Work may vary slightly by location but generally includes:

     

    • Pulling empty cable runs for future connectivity.

    • Installing new electrical circuits as required.

    • Tapping into existing power sources in the ceiling to extend service.

    • Installing quad outlets at kiosks.

    • Installing four quad outlets in network areas.

    • Installing one single outlet as specified.

    • Adapting to different breaker configurations at each site.

    • Conducting surveys prior to work to confirm layout, breaker details, and compliance requirements.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
