Special Education Teacher – $42/hr – Cedar Hill, TX

Position Overview:

We are hiring two Special Education Teachers to provide quality services to students in grades K–12 under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator. These roles involve planning and implementing student programs, delivering specialized instruction, and collaborating with general education staff.

Assignment Details

+ Location: Cedar Hill High School & Highland Elementary

+ Start Date: December 15, 2025

+ End Date: May 22, 2026

+ Schedule:

+ Elementary: 8:15 AM – 3:55 PM

+ High School: 7:25 AM – 3:05 PM

+ Hours: 37.5 per week

+ Pay Rate: $42/hour

+ Caseload:

+ Elementary: ~25 students

+ High School: ~15 students

+ Classroom Support: 1 para

+ Interview: Virtual or in-person

+ Onboarding: District fingerprinting required

Minimum Requirements

+ Valid state teaching certificate (Special Education required)

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ Experience in teaching environment preferred

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Current CPR, TB screening, and health certificate (if applicable)
