    DeVivo Truck & Trailer currently has a full-time Technician opening at our location in Lancaster, NY. This position works at a customer facility and will help maintain a fleet of 140 dry vans, 120 reefer trailers and 6 yard horses. This is a 3rd shift, 4-day work week position (Tuesday and Wednesday 9 PM to 7 AM, Thursday and Friday 7 PM to 7 AM).

    + Compensation of $20-46/hour

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards

    + Follow established technical & administrative processes

    + Complete repair orders and parts usage forms, PM lists and parts accountability

    + Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers

    + Remain current on technical & regulation requirements

    + Perform road service calls, perform road rescue/transport equipment as required

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules, regulations and government guidelines

    Position Requirements:

    + 2 years- experience as an automotive, truck, bus or trailer technician

    + Ability to prioritize, and complete job assignments

    + Proficient with computer operation/usage

    + Valid driver-s license, CDL preferred

    + Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic, can-do attitude

    + Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions

    + A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required
