Maine Veterans’ Homesis an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Maine’s veterans and families. Our vision is to be the Provider and Employer of Choice while recognizing our special role as a Veteran Advocate, and “Caring for Those Who Served.” All six of our facilities have been recognized by the American Health Care Association with awards for Achievement in Quality, placing them in the top five percent of nursing homes across the nation.

TheCRMAposition assists in medication administration to residents as ordered by the attending physician under the direction of an RN and works as a direct care staff as assigned and in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

+ Candidates must possess a dual certification, including a current 40-hour CRMA and PSS or CNA

+ Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.

+ Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.

+ Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.

+ Basic computer skills
