Job Description
For $57/hr, this role focuses on managing and supporting OpenShift clusters within an AWS environment, overseeing approximately 160 nodes and 400–500 applications. The responsibilities are primarily operational, with about 90% dedicated to support and 10% to engineering tasks. Daily activities include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring reliability across the infrastructure. The position requires handling changes that may occur during off-hours and occasional work on Friday evenings. Collaboration with internal teams is essential, as well as maintaining flexibility to address urgent updates or incidents promptly.

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years with OpenShift in AWS (not ROSA, self-hosted)
• Cloud infrastructure support (AWS) general experience
- 5+ years' experience with RedHat/OpenShift administration
- Classical system administration experience (RHEL or any other enterprise Linux)
- Light programming experience, shell, python, etc. (using APIs to get data or shell scripts to automate common tasks)
Coming from hedge fund or similar finance environments
