    Position Description:

    Performs central accounting and financial analysis functions according to established procedures.

    Major/Essential Functions:

    + Review and analyze PASS requests for new positions, reclassifications, and salary reviews and ensures the system processes each transaction accurately in PASS, Banner, and the Budget Prep System.

    + Review and analyze EPAF transactions, ensuring that departments are submitting with accurate data, that information and required documentation are complete, funding is available in the correct account codes, and all required approvers are entered for each transaction.

    + Review and process budget revisions to adjust the expense budget within a fund, to budget from fund balance, to change a revenue budget, or to transfer budget between funds.

    + Assist departments with any budget, accounting, compensation or position inquiries or issues.

    + Reviews edits and researches discrepancies of financial information discovered during review of accounts for the purpose of reaching resolution, ensuring accuracy of data and complying to established procedures.

    + Assist in the preparation of the Annual Operating Budget by examining budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations

    + Review and process Employee One Time Payments for accuracy of payment information, position information, earn code, funding source, approval routing, and ensure timely processing to meet payroll deadlines.

    + Ensure labor redistributions are processed in a timely manner and that change of labor funding are in conformity with grant guidelines, and adhere to any restrictions as to the use of each fund classification.

    + Remain current with all licensure, certifications, and mandatory compliance and training requirements for this position.

    + Adhere to all policies, procedures, and practices.

    + Personally demonstrate, display and act in accordance with TTUHSC EP's Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value's leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution.

    + Perform all other duties as assigned.
