Overview
You will be responsible for the analysis, investigation, and research needs of the organization’s financial planning. Your day might include:
+ Gathering and analyzing financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues
+ Developing analysis of economic indicators in order to prepare forecasts and analyses of the company’s short, medium- and long-term positions supporting the needs of financial planning
+ Build what if scenario models for products/projects and tracking IRR of initiatives
+ Creating and maintaining statistical models for forecasting, budgeting, and summarize high level commentary on drivers of budget and prior year variances
+ Identifying major business driver KPIs
+ Communicating to executives through the building of PowerPoint presentations
In this role, you’ll need:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; or 4+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Experience in FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) inside a large services company
+ Ability to work independently with little supervision and with precise detailed accuracy
+ Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of team members ranging from branch managers to Executive Leadership Team.
+ Must have ability to effectively relay complex financial data to non-finance team members so they have a clear understanding
+ Multi-tasking abilities to complete multiple projects and ad hoc requests under tight deadlines and time constraints
+ Advanced proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel skills a must, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
+ Have an appetite for massive amounts of data and drive to make sense of it
+ Have a strong work ethic and take ownership in completing projects from beginning stages with a “can do” attitude
+ Always looking for ways to improve current finance models and processes
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Advanced or expert level excel is required
+ Visual analytical skill a major plus
+ Tableau skills are a major plus – Data scrubbing and heavy pivot table aggregation
