About the Zhang Lab:
Dr. Zhang's research program centers on translational research using experimental and computational strategies. The lab conducts preclinical ADME studies and develops PK, PK/PD, and PBPK models to optimize drug dosing and support drug development in human populations.
Position Description
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Associate position in the laboratory of Dr. Tao Zhang, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Zhang Lab focuses on translational pharmacology, integrating in vitro, in vivo, and in silico approaches to investigate drug safety, efficacy, and ADME processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacokinetics and demonstrated expertise in physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling, with a proven track record of research productivity.
Job Requirements:
+ Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Toxicology, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field
+ At least two years of postdoctoral experience
+ Demonstrated experience and peer-reviewed publications in PBPK modeling
+ Proven hands-on experience in LC-MS/MS analysis and in vivo animal studies
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Prior experience in pharmacokinetic and related quantitative modeling
Additional Information:
Salary: $63,000 annually.
