    Candidates must meet U.S. person requirements (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other protected individual). The position is expected to onboard at an American Rheinmetall location and transition into primarily being located in Warsaw, Poland, for an 18+ month assignment.     Job Summary:

    We are seeking a Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) Battle Damage Assessment and Repair (BDAR) Shift Supervisor to oversee and manage the rapid assessment and expedient repair of battle-damaged vehicles to quickly return them to an operational status. This role combines technical maintenance expertise with strong leadership and coordination skills to support (BDAR) operations in Poland.

    Essential Functions:

    + Supervise a team of mechanics and provide technical guidance during repair operations. This includes planning, coordinating, and directing field maintenance activities for the M2/M3 series Bradley Fighting Vehicle.

    + Conduct initial and detailed assessments of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of damage, required repairs, and risk levels involved in returning the equipment to service.

    + Perform Battle Damage Repair (BDR) to return vehicles to mission-capable status quickly and safely.

    + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on BFVs.

    + Carry out welding and fabrication for armored hull repairs, structural reinforcements, and component replacement.

    + Conduct inspections and quality assurance on completed repairs to meet military standards.

    + Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, assessments, and parts usage.

    + Support training of military personnel on BDAR procedures when required.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience, training and/or testing)

     

    + Strong leadership skills.

    + Hands-on experience with Bradley Fighting Vehicles (M2/M3 series).

    + Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

    + Familiarity with U.S. Army Technical Manuals (TMs) related to BDAR and vehicle maintenance.

    + Ability to work independently in field environments under tight deadlines.

    + Must be able to communicate effectively in a variety of settings with both U.S. and English-speaking foreign nationals.

    + U.S. citizenship (required for access to military facilities and contracts).

    + Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (if required).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Prior U.S. Army or defense contractor experience performing BDAR on Bradley Fighting Vehicles.

    + Welding and metal fabrication experience (MIG/TIG/Arc).

    + Experience with military wiring harness fabrication and repair.

    + Knowledge of depot-level maintenance procedures.

    + Previous overseas deployment or contractor experience.

    Education:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    Background Prerequisites:

    + Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.

    + All employment at ARV is contingent upon the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if the position requires it.
