    Pay Rate:

    _The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*_

    What you'll be doing as a Scrap Yard Associate:

    + Working outdoors in a metal scrapyard environment

    + Keeping grounds, walkways, and areas near machinery clear and safe

    + Loading and placing materials into their designated areas

    + Using handheld equipment such as dollies, shovels, and rakes to move and organize scrap

    + Frequently lifting up to 70 lbs, bending, walking, and standing for an entire 8-hour shift

    + Manually picking up and moving scrap materials as needed

    Available shifts:

    Shift Timings - 2nd Shift (Evening)

    Job requirements:

    + Ability to lift up to 70 lbs consistently

    + Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

    + Strong commitment to safety

    + Reliable transportation- **location is not on a bus line**

    + Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for a full shift

    + Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and work independently

    + Experience in general labor, outdoor work, or scrap yards is a plus but not required

    + Dressing appropriately for outdoor work and all weather conditions

    + Staying alert and safety-focused in a high-movement environment with vehicles, machinery, and heavy materials

    + Following directions, staying proactive, and completing tasks with minimal supervision
