Description

Serving at UCLA Health will give you the opportunity to use your specialized abilities to help improve the lives of our patients, their families, and your fellow UCLA Health team members. You'll provide critical support that makes healing happen. We'd love to have you join us.

Under the supervision of a Custodial Supervisor - You will assist in cleaning assigned areas, patient rooms, nursing stations, ancillary rooms, exam rooms, procedure rooms, conference rooms, offices, hallways, corridors, public areas, etc. as needed. Responsible for assisting in the training of new personnel.

Qualifications

* Operate vacuum cleaners, buffers, shampoo machines, floor machines, and wall/window washing equipment.

* Sweep, strip, and wax floors.

* Perform isolation room cleaning.

* Complete high and low dusting.

* Clean vertical and horizontal surfaces using approved cleaning solutions.

* Knowledge of proper use and storage of disinfectants, cleaning solutions, detergents, soaps, and floor waxes is preferred.
