Summary: This role will assist with assigned shipping and receiving functions to assure all materials are shipped and received in a timely manner. Essential Functions: * Package and receive materials in accordance with applicable procedures. * Communicate with various departments regarding product quality issues, material availability and processing issues. * Load and unload trucks using a fork lift. Operate these fork lifts safely in accordance with established procedures. * Work with engineering and production on continuous improvement/Six Sigma projects as needed. * Maintain a safe work environment (5S and clean-up work area). * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education * 1+ years shipping and receiving experience in manufacturing environment * Certified forklift operator with 1+ years of fork lift experience. If not certified, willing and able to become certified Full-Time
