**Job Title:** Forklift Operator
Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, timely shipments, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials to designated locations.
+ Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas efficiently and safely.
+ Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure proper working condition; report any maintenance needs.
+ Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
+ Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and update tracking systems as required.
+ Assist with warehouse organization, including stocking, sorting, and labeling products.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Forklift certification required; previous experience operating forklifts preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
+ Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
+ Basic computer skills for inventory tracking are a plus.
Working Conditions:
+ Warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
+ May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
+ Safety equipment such as steel-toed boots and high-visibility clothing required.
**Pay Details:** $21.45 per hour
