A Dispensary Technician role in Morris Plains, NJ is now available through Adecco Medical and Science. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out lab duties mainly focused on assisting the lab in development of beauty solution formulations. Responsible for coordinating the sampling of produced bulk samples as determined by standard operating procedures and policies.

**Position type:** Temp/contract for a minimum of 6-month – likely extension to 1-year

**Work hours:** Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm

**Pay range:** $25.00-28.00/hr. depending on your level of experience

Job Responsibilities

• Fulfilling laboratory orders for raw materials

• Accurately recording raw material amounts in a computer database

• Verifying expiration dates before dispensing/disposing of raw materials

• Weighing up raw materials according to a batch card or database page

• Accurately entering long strings of alpha-numeric data into CISPro (data base)

• Maintaining Safety and GMP standards for MP Dispensary and Warehouse

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent

• Experience with inventory systems work, SAP, or database work is must have required. You will work the majority of your time in CISPRO (90%) and occasionally SAP (10%).

• Must have relevant experience working with hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

• Basic math skills are essential – including understanding the concept of percentages and ability to convert between milligrams/grams/kilograms and other weights and measures.

• Must pay close attention to detail

• Familiarity with CISPRO systems a plus

• Ability to learn while training with an experienced Dispensary person

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision from an experienced Dispensary person

• Ability to accurately dispense materials within +/- 1% of required weight

• Ability to work from written and/or verbal instructions

• Ability to communicate clearly (written and/or verbal)

Physical Demands/Requirements

+ Ability to safely lift and maneuver large, bulky items on a regular basis

+ Ability to follow Safety Rules and requirements, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.

+ Ability to walk frequently between departments, and ability to stand during the entire shift.

+ Ability to climb stairs occasionally during the shift

+ Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time

+ Ability to routinely follow policies and procedure related to company practices and safety procedures. Ability to operate various office equipment and/or machinery

Description Of Work Environment/Conditions

+ Ability to perform assigned work hours and work periodic overtime in order to meet the job responsibilities of the role.

+ Individual will be exposed to working in or around a lab environment with various equipment, machinery and chemicals. Safety precautions must be adhered to and followed at all times

**Pay Details:** $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
