What´s the role?
This role is focused on the development, maintenance and optimization of LCPR’s companywide Data Sources. This position interacts with a variety of groups across the company and with all levels of management. This role requires excellent attention to detail with high-quality revenue-generating deliverables and main KPI’s knowledge.
How can you add value?
+ Develop ETLs on .net frameworks (SSIS) or in cloud-based technologies (AWS / Snowflake). This is key to developing processes to pull raw data from Core systems such as CSG and Salesforce and ultimately push official data sets into LCPRs Data Lake.
+ Apply multivariate testing and analytical techniques to build data outputs that will result in better understanding of customer engagement, behavior, and segmentation.
+ Provide supervision on various data teams to ensure the company uses sanitized data sources specifically designed to efficiently address business impact inquiries.
+ Engage and drive a “single source of truth” methodology by formalizing all official data sets in categorized and documented location.
+ Build and maintain intelligence reporting platforms that deliver metrics, trends, and actionable data to stakeholders by leveraging Tableau Software capabilities and features or any LCPR custom reporting apps used by BI (.NET Report Apps / Crystal Reports).
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, business, finance, IT and technical groups ensuring the prioritization of company needs.
+ Continuously improve reporting and analysis processe **s** through automation and simplification.
+ Manage team of data analysts.
+ Ensure compliance with Liberty Latin America’s policies, safety standards, and the Customer First Philosophy.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
What do you need?
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in one of the following majors: Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
5+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics position, including 3+ years of experience managing a BI team.
Other Qualifications:
+ Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English).
+ Proficiency with Excel, SQL, ETL processes and Tableau.
+ Excellent attention to detail with high-quality revenue-generating deliverables, as well as excellent management skills.
+ Ability to perform statistical analysis and to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory is a plus.
+ Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, assumptions and recommendations.
+ Able to multitask and perform in a fast paced and changing environment with minimal direction and supervision.
+ Knowledge of telecommunications industry KPIs
+ Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
+ Ability to relate well both with general public and with employees at all levels.
+ Solid spreadsheet skills, including using PivotTable and PivotChart, advanced macros and complex formulas, is essential to this job.
+ Require excellent quantitative skills, including but not limited to the ability to manipulate large quantities of data in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
+ Valid driver’s license.
+ Willingness to travel.
