    What´s the role?

     

    As the Director, SOHO / Channel, you will serve as the enterprise leader responsible for defining the long-term commercial strategy, operating model, and organizational capabilities required to accelerate growth within the SOHO/SMB segment. This role combines strategic foresight, strong business acumen, and deep experience building and scaling multi-channel commercial organizations.

     

    You will architect the vision for the SOHO/SMB segments, shaping the market strategy, product ecosystem, sales channels, and customer experience to unlock sustainable profitability and competitive differentiation. You will lead a cross-functional transformation that integrates Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance, ensuring alignment around segment priorities, resource allocation, and KPIs that directly drive revenue, EBITDA, and market expansion.

     

    As the P&L owner, you will be accountable for the segment’s overall financial performance, including revenue growth, COGS optimization, Opex discipline, and commercial ROI. You will guide the development of new business models, pricing structures, sales enablement frameworks, and channel governance to elevate performance across D2D, Retail, and Call Center organizations. This role requires a seasoned commercial executive with a proven ability to influence at the C-suite level, navigate complex matrix structures, and lead teams through significant organizational change.

     

    How can you add value?

    Strategic Leadership & Segment Vision

    + Define and continuously evolve the SOHO/SMB long-term vision, grounded in market dynamics, competitive insights, consumer behavior, and company growth priorities.

    + Establish the strategic roadmap for revenue expansion, operational efficiency, and market share growth across all channels.

    + Build the commercial operating model that integrates sales, marketing, product, and customer experience into a unified go-to-market engine.

    P&L Ownership & Financial Leadership

    + Own the SOHO/SMB full P&L, ensuring strong financial discipline across revenue, COGS, Opex, and ROIC.

    + Drive pricing strategy, product economics, and channel investment decisions to optimize profitability and long-term value creation.

    + Lead annual budget planning, forecasting, scenario modeling, and strategic investment prioritization.

    Commercial Strategy & Channel Transformation

    + Architect the commercial strategy and revenue acceleration plan across D2D, Retail, Call Center, and digital channels.

    + Build scalable sales governance frameworks, including performance management, incentive design, territory strategy, and productivity standards.

    + Identify channel performance gaps and redesign operating practices that enhance speed, quality, and conversion.

    Product, Offer & Portfolio Leadership

    + Oversee the end-to-end product and offer portfolio for SOHO/SMB, from concept development to market execution.

    + Ensure that offers, service bundles, and pricing strategies are competitive, financially sustainable, and aligned with customer needs.

    + Partner with Product and Technology to define future roadmap, innovation opportunities, and digital experiences for SMB customers.

    Integrated Marketing & Demand Generation

    + Lead the development of the integrated marketing strategy for the SOHO/SMB segment, ensuring alignment with brand, positioning, and growth targets.

    + Govern demand generation activities, including campaigns, channel activation, customer lifecycle programs, and segmentation models.

    + Strengthen commercial readiness by ensuring go-to-market activities, messaging, and value propositions are cohesive and high-impact.

    Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment

    + Drive executive-level alignment between Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Technology, Finance, and Customer Care.

    + Build cross-functional steering mechanisms to ensure coordination, visibility, and accountability for segment KPIs.

    + Influence enterprise-wide decisions and investments that directly impact segment performance, customer experience, or channel capabilities.

    Organizational Leadership & Talent Development

    + Lead high-performing teams through clear direction, coaching, performance management, and development of future leaders.

    + Build the capabilities required for a modern, data-driven commercial organization.

    + Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.

    Insights, Analytics & Performance Optimization

    + Lead the insights and analytics agenda for the segment to support forecasting, pricing, churn management, targeting, and ROI measurement.

    + Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and rigorous performance analysis.

    + Demonstrate and ensure compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America's policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.

    + Other functions may be assigned.

     

    What do you need?

    Education** **and/or** **Experience:

    **Bachelor’s Degree** in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field is required. **Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent)** strongly preferred, ideally with a focus on Strategy, Marketing, or Finance.

    **10+ years of progressive leadership experience** in Commercial, Sales, Marketing, or Product roles within Telecom, Technology, or other subscription-based industries.

    **Proven experience at Director level** , leading multi-channel commercial organizations (D2D, Retail, Call Center, Digital).

     

    Demonstrated success in **P&L ownership** , financial management, and commercial strategy design.

    Other Qualifications:

    + Fully bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

    + Proven experience leading, supervising, and optimizing door-to-door sales operations, including the simultaneous management of two or more high-performing teams.

    + Strong track record building, scaling, or transforming a B2B/SMB segment, with demonstrated expertise in product portfolio development, pricing strategy, and go-to-market execution.

    + Advanced capability in market analysis, segmentation, customer insights, value proposition design, and end-to-end customer lifecycle management.

    + Demonstrated success driving cross-functional alignment and leading initiatives within highly matrixed, fast-paced organizations.

    + Executive-level leadership in organizational development, including talent development, capability building, team leadership, and change management.

    + Strong influence and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with executive and C-suite stakeholders and lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
