    Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist

    **Location:** 4047 13th Street, St. Cloud, FL 34769

    **Job Type:** Part-Time (31 hours per week)

    **Schedule:** Monday to Friday

    **Incentives** : $10,000 bonus

    **Pay:** $47.00 - $50.00 per hour

     

    _Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with extensive experience may earn up to $52.00 per hour._

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a **Part-Time Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist** to join our outpatient orthopedic clinic in St. Cloud, FL. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experienced hand surgeons and contribute to a growing national Hand Therapy program.

     

    **Minimum Requirement:** At least 1 year of recent hand therapy experience.

    Responsibilities

    + Evaluate and treat patients with upper extremity conditions, including post-operative fractures, tendon injuries, sprains, and strains

    + Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices

    + Provide splinting as needed

    + Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals

    + Maintain accurate and timely documentation

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.

    + Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.

    + Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

    + Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

    Qualifications

    + Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.

    + National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED to start.

    + Occupational Therapists with a minimum of 1+ yr current hand therapy experience

    + Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

    + Valid state driver’s license
