    Overview

    Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapy (PRN)

    **Location:** Winter Haven, FL

    **Schedule:** Weekdays, PRN

    **Pay:** $47/hr

     

    Select Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced **Hand Therapist (OT)** to join our outpatient team. Treat a variety of upper extremity conditions including post-op fractures, tendon injuries, and more. Splinting experience preferred. Manage 10–12 patients per day using evidence-based care. Work alongside top hand surgeons in a well-equipped clinic. Be part of a growing national hand therapy program.

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.

    + Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.

    + Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

    + Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

    Qualifications

    + Must be a graduate of an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy and state OT License required

    + Experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedics is required

    + Occupational Therapists with a minimum of two (2) yr recent hand therapy experience.

    + Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

    + Valid driver’s license
