Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, programming, testing, and inspecting fire alarm systems on new construction and renovation job sites ensuring they function efficiently and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

+ Install, program and test fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and safety.

+ Inspect and troubleshoot fire alarm systems to identify and resolve issues.

+ Read and interpret schematics to assist with installation and maintenance.

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in fire alarm system installation and troubleshooting.

+ Experience with Honeywell and Mircom fire alarm systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.

+ Knowledge of S-97, S-98, and NHFP-72 certifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ SST 40 certification is required

+ Programming experience preferred but willing to train

+ Experience in service work environments

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
