Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves managing a team during the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM and requires a proactive leader ready to engage with the team and oversee production processes.
Responsibilities
+ Manage a team of 20-25 direct reports during the 2nd shift.
+ Provide performance feedback and create a production schedule and forecasting.
+ Engage with the team and perform duties outside of traditional supervisory scope when necessary, such as packing and testing parts.
+ Oversee daily process management, including coordination of parts and management of 200 production lots across 3 clean rooms.
+ Use Excel for production tracking, requiring intermediate proficiency.
+ Oversee production of 50,000 parts.
Essential Skills
+ 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
+ High school diploma.
+ 5 years of experience in a high-volume production environment.
+ 1 year of supervisory experience.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Computer proficiency, including MS Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in inventory control and management preferred.
+ Knowledge of machine operations and troubleshooting is preferred.
+ Flexibility to work different shifts, evenings, and weekends.
+ Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Positive attitude and ability to inspire and engage others.
+ Drive to succeed and grow within the organization.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $55.89/hr.
