    Job Title: Field Service Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician who is ready to embark on a journey that involves 20-30% travel, including 4-6 days of domestic travel per month and the possibility of one international trip per year. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around building machines and troubleshooting customers' machinery to ensure optimal performance. You will utilize blueprints to build customized machines, wire electrical panels, and troubleshoot machinery using PLCs.

    Responsibilities

    + Build and troubleshoot customer machinery for adjustments and optimization.

    + Utilize blueprints to construct customized machines.

    + Wire electrical panels and troubleshoot using PLCs.

    + Communicate with customers to provide technical assistance regarding their machines.

    + Use machine operation, maintenance manuals, drawings, blueprints, and schematics for troubleshooting.

    + Coordinate follow-ups on parts, documents, and other needs resulting from service calls, emails, and field trips.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician.

    + Proficiency in machine rebuilds and assembly.

    + Ability to wire electrical panels and troubleshoot using PLCs.

    + Experience with mechanical and electrical systems.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a fast-paced, clean, and well-maintained environment that manufactures food processing equipment. The team consists of about 12 people who ensure a collaborative and cohesive work atmosphere. The facility is not overly noisy, and the temperature is comfortable. Expect 20-30% travel, with domestic trips lasting 4-6 days a month and occasional international trip

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
