Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Industrial-Multi-Craft) | 1st shift | $25-$30/hr | Canton, OH

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee all shop maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities as needed. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $25-$30, with opportunities for overtime, and operates during the first shift from 7 am to 3 pm in Canton, OH.

Responsibilities

+ Manage industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical and electrical machinery components.

+ Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule, including ordering parts as necessary.

+ Handle equipment such as pneumatically driven machinery, small hydraulic presses, small industrial ovens, motors, radio frequency welders, vacuum formers, and rotary tables.

+ Perform facilities maintenance when required, including plumbing and commercial lighting.

+ Work independently to ensure all machinery is kept in optimal condition.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.

+ Proficiency in pneumatic repairs and troubleshooting.

+ Experience with hydraulic repair.

+ Basic electrical knowledge, including 480v and 3 phase systems.

+ Ability to independently initiate and execute preventive maintenance plans.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with PLCs is advantageous.

+ Familiarity with blueprints and wiring.

+ Knowledge of the manufacturing industry, particularly in plastics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
