Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Packer where you will be responsible for packing lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products into boxes. This role requires attention to detail to ensure accurate counts and quality checks.

Responsibilities

+ Pack lip balm and personal care products into boxes with accurate counts.

+ Weigh boxes to ensure correct product counts when necessary.

+ Perform quality checks to ensure labels are correctly applied with no bubbles, expiration dates, or misprints.

+ Maintain a fast-paced work environment without slowing down the production line.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in packing and production environments.

+ Ability to perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and palletizing.

+ Skills in picking, stacking, and inspecting products.

+ Proficient in labeling and ensuring quality control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a similar packing role.

+ Ability to work independently, especially during smaller shifts.

Work Environment

The work environment is very fast-paced, requiring you to stand for the entire shift. You will be provided with a locker on your first day to store personal belongings. You can carry a clear bag containing a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen. The job is located at the corporate headquarters in a manufacturing setting. The third shift is smaller and quieter, requiring more independence from team members.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.19 - $19.34/hr.
