    Job Title: Sculptor

    **Location:** Englewood, CO

    **Employment Type:** Full-Time

    **Shift:** 1st Shift — 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

    **Pay:** $22.50-24/hr

     

    About the Role

     

    As a **Sculptor** , you will bring creativity and precision to life by transforming Styrofoam blocks into imaginative play elements. Using sculpting techniques, hand tools, and hot wire machines, you’ll create high-quality pieces based on production drawings, 2D illustrations, and photo references. This role is perfect for someone with artistic talent, technical skill, and a passion for craftsmanship.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Sculpt Styrofoam blocks into play elements using hand tools and hot wire machines.

    + Replicate production and detail drawings with accuracy and quality.

    + Sculpt based on 2D illustrations or photo references.

    + Unload and recycle Styrofoam billets upon delivery.

    + Program, monitor, and operate FrogWire machines as needed.

    + Apply “Froth Pak” to add mass, fill gaps, and secure features.

    + Respond to verbal and visual feedback and iterate through review cycles.

    + Break down sculptures for production efficiency.

    + Manage multiple projects and deliver quality sculpts on time.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tool upkeep.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in foam sculpting and strong hand dexterity.

    + Ability to follow instructions and interpret drawings accurately.

    + Experience with hand tools and welding.

    + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

    + High School diploma or GED (preferred).

    + Formal art training (preferred).

    + Strong visual style and attention to detail.

    + Knowledge of reductive sculpting methods and techniques.

    + Understanding of tool and equipment operations.

    + Familiarity with health and safety practices in sculpting.

    Additional Qualifications

    + Formal art training is a plus.

    + Experience creating unique visual identities.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is based in a production setting with exposure to heat, noise, and chemicals. The role involves frequent lifting, bending, and handling of parts. Safety is a priority—steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required at all times, with hearing protection in designated areas.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Englewood, CO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.00/hr.
