Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented General Production Workers to join our team in food manufacturing. This role involves rotating through various positions, including Tray Scraper, Cupper, Picker, Handpacker, and more, ensuring the smooth operation and quality control of our production line.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain cleanliness and switch out gloves in a sanitary manner during rotations.

+ Supply cups for all cup setter magazines and clear any cup paper stuck on cupsetter heads.

+ Scrape trays and keep the cupsetter area clean at all times.

+ Ensure the correct cup paper size for products and that each tray cavity receives one cup paper.

+ Reposition incorrectly deposited cup papers and remove extra cups.

+ Clean Tonnaer screw when the line is down for a shift or longer.

+ Remove defective products from inspection belts and address product jams.

+ Perform metal detection checks every two hours and at the end of production runs.

+ Fill cases with the required number of bags and monitor the integrity of bag seals.

+ Perform wrapped product inspections and reset Main Line after stops.

+ Rotate through stations timely, fill and seal cases, and perform quality tracking.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, general labor, packaging, food production, and food manufacturing.

+ Ability to work both 2nd and 3rd shifts, with 1st week training on the 1st shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with packing, picking, cleaning, and hand packing.

+ Ability to wear steel/composite-toed shoes, maintain dress code standards, and adhere to safety protocols.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, climate-controlled food manufacturing facility that adheres to all GMP standards. Dress code includes wearing hair nets, beard nets, jackets (provided), hard hats, gloves, and appropriate footwear. Ensure no jewelry is worn, and long sleeves must not be rolled up.

This is a Contract position based out of Hershey, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
