Job Title: Installer** **Job Description
As an Installer, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation, installation, assembly, and maintenance of various types of equipment. You will be tasked with reviewing project plans and specifications to understand installation requirements. Your work will involve setting up machinery, electronic devices, or industrial systems, and assembling components according to technical drawings. Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring seamless project execution through collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other team members.
Responsibilities
+ Review project plans and specifications to understand installation requirements.
+ Install and set up various types of equipment, including machinery, electronic devices, or industrial systems.
+ Assemble and integrate components according to provided instructions and technical drawings.
+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment as needed to address issues or prevent malfunctions.
+ Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for oneself and others.
+ Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in equipment installation may be required.
+ Previous experience as an equipment installer (5-7 years).
+ Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
+ Strong mechanical and technical skills.
+ Ability to use hand and power tools for assembly and installation.
+ Attention to detail and precision in equipment setup.
+ Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
+ Physical fitness and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
+ Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Technical certifications in equipment installation.
+ Vocational training in related fields.
+ Experience with sheet metal and blueprint reading.
+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Work Environment
The work environment is climate-controlled, well-lit, and clean. The standard schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with additional hours due to current demands. The position requires no travel, ensuring a stable and consistent work setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Henrico, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
