Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic individual who excels at following processes, maintaining quality, and working with a team to drive our production success.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine assembly operations of a repetitive nature on mechanical and/or electronic components and sub-assemblies in the product line.

+ Work from samples, bills of material, prints, and work instructions, as well as verbal instructions.

+ Use various hand and power tools to perform the work.

+ Assemble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete units or subassemblies, including programming transmitters and using lasers.

+ Build sub-components as needed using various tools and machines.

+ Perform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operations.

+ Conduct calibration for devices as needed.

+ Maintain accurate inventory and notify team lead of adjustments or scrap.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

+ Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.

+ High attention to detail with a focus on quality and producing quality parts.

+ Steel-toed or composite shoes required (boots provided).

+ Assembly experience preferred.

+ Experience using hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read, write, and understand English.

+ Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, units of measurement).

+ Basic CPU skills including Microsoft suite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Assembly experience.

+ Experience in manufacturing preferred.

+ Experience using torque equipment.

Work Environment

Work in a quality-over-quantity environment that prioritizes safety and collaboration. The facility is temperature controlled and requires steel toes, safety glasses, and gloves. Shifts include 1st Shift (6:45 AM - 3:30 PM) and 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 1:30 AM), with the possibility of overtime announced in advance. The culture is diverse and laid-back, focusing on process improvement and communication, with every employee encouraged to submit improvement process recommendations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.25/hr.
