Job Duties

+ **Lead planning and inventory control activities** by coordinating efforts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely material supply to support production and customer orders.

+ **Oversee workflow scheduling** by analyzing reports, adjusting production plans, and collaborating with supervisors to resolve capacity and scheduling issues.

+ **Perform capacity planning** by running machine load reports, reviewing capacities with production teams, and recommending subcontracting when necessary.

+ **Manage shortage issues** by monitoring overdue parts, investigating root causes, and working with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely material delivery.

+ **Drive continuous improvement and project management initiatives** by leading cross-functional projects, promoting lean principles, and implementing standard work practices.

Minimum Qualifications

+ 2-4 years of related experience

+ Associate degree (Business Administration or Supply Chain Management)

+ Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED

+ Occasional travel and overnight stays (0-5%)

Preferred Qualifications

+ Eight to ten years of extensive planning or related experience.

+ APICS certification.

+ Have a strong understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and be familiar with and able to manage in a modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment using software systems, such as SAP.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Microsoft Excel.

+ Good oral and written communications skills.
