    We’re seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead to champion safety and sustainability across our organization. This role will develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. As a subject matter expert, you’ll drive a strong safety culture, reduce risk, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    Oversee all aspects of the EHS program, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local, state, and federal regulations.

     

    Create and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to foster a safe, environmentally responsible workplace.

     

    Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and environmental impact reviews; recommend corrective actions.

     

    Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.

     

    Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.

     

    Track and report EHS performance metrics; recommend improvements to leadership.

     

    Collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering teams to integrate EHS into processes and projects.

     

    Engage employees through training, communication, safety committees, and recognition programs.

     

    Manage hazardous waste, chemical inventories, and environmental compliance reporting.

     

    Stay current on EHS regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.

     

    5-8 years of progressive EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.

     

    Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related regulations.

     

    Proven ability to lead safety programs, audits, and investigations.

     

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence at all levels.

     

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

    Office-based with frequent visits to the production floor.

     

    Occasional travel for training, audits, or site support.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
