    Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design, with a strong understanding of soil mechanics and foundation engineering. This role involves working on a variety of civil and environmental projects, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct geotechnical site investigations, including soil sampling and laboratory testing.

    + Perform engineering analyses for foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, and earthwork.

    + Prepare geotechnical reports, design recommendations, and construction specifications.

    + Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective and practical solutions.

    + Provide field support during construction, including observation and troubleshooting.

    + Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.

    + PG Licensure

    + 3+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.

    + Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, gINT, or similar).

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    Preferred Skills

    + Experience with landfill design, environmental projects, or solid waste management.

    + Familiarity with local and state regulations.

    + Project management experience is a plus.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Bartow, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
