Immediate Design Engineer II Opportunity (ONSITE)!
Job Description
As a Design Engineer II for Actalent Services LLC, you will independently demonstrate engineering principles and application skills. You will select techniques to solve complex problems by understanding, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex systems. Your initiative will help you reach out to internal expertise to resolve technical issues, influencing design direction across projects.
Responsibilities
+ Summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from complex test results.
+ Design and coordinate complex engineering tests and experiments.
+ Assess the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment.
+ Work with some latitude for independent action or decision and self-manage time, completing tasks with minimal guidance.
+ Apply detailed knowledge of customer needs to work products.
+ Train and provide work direction to technicians and entry-level engineers.
+ Ensure compliant utilization of design control processes for Design and Development part of Product Realization, including leading the creation and/or maintenance of R&D deliverables.
+ Seek the most efficient application of regulations to projects, such as sample sizes and technical rationale.
+ Collaborate with existing vendors and seek new vendors.
+ Use engineering principles and techniques in areas such as statics, strength of materials, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, kinematics, dynamics, and more.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of design engineering experience in medical device product development.
+ Proficiency in design control processes for Design and Development, including design input/output validation and verification.
+ Experience with engineering analyses such as CFD, FEA, and Multi-Physics.
+ Strong skills in Design of Experiments and understanding of clinical and pre-clinical medical device design standards and regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
+ Experience with design validation and verification documentation.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
