    Job Title: Fire Sprinkler DesignerJob Description

     

    We are seeking a designer/drafter within the fire sprinkler industry to join our team. This position is open due to the company's growth and involves providing support to team members, including project managers and estimators. You will prepare layouts, drawings, sketches, and diagrams, while gaining an understanding of system operations, including freeze-protected systems in various weather conditions.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize computer-assisted design/drafting equipment to develop designs and blueprints necessary for project completion.

    + Create multi-view drawings and finished designs from original sketches.

    + Produce comprehensive packages including layouts, manuals, hydraulic calculations, and design criteria with essential information such as hydraulic placards, test papers, and zone maps.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)

    + Mechanical aptitude (required)

    + NICET certification (required)

    + Associate's degree in CAD/math or 1-3 years of experience in a related field

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Field experience within estimating, project management, or fire sprinkler installation (preferred)

    + Engineering degree (preferred)

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
