    Environmental Technician

    Are you passionate about protecting the environment and ensuring regulatory compliance? Join our team as an Environmental Technician, where you’ll play a critical role in conducting field services, audits, and emissions testing that help businesses meet environmental standards and contribute to a cleaner future.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Perform environmental regulatory audits at facilities, including boiler efficiency testing, cooling tower compliance, stack testing, and emissions performance evaluations.

    + Conduct hands-on boiler tests using advanced tools like the TESTO® meter.

    + Upload and manage compliance data in DEP CATS systems/portals.

    + Perform visual opacity determinations for emissions from stationary sources (with re-certification every six months).

    + Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality work, resolve issues, and keep projects on schedule.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + 2–4 years of experience in the environmental field.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

    + Hands-on experience with boiler testing and emissions monitoring tools.

    + Familiarity with DEP CATS systems and opacity determination procedures.

    + Strong communication and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Visual opacity certification.

    + Experience with NYC Department of Buildings Special Inspections is a plus.

    This is a Permanent position based out of White Plains, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/hr.
