Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in New York, New York. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills and experience in accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and billing tasks while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Prepare and review invoices for billing purposes, maintaining compliance with company standards.

• Accurately code invoices and assign them to appropriate departments for approval workflows.

• Enter financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail.

• Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable to ensure proper documentation and payment tracking.

• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and completeness.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in billing and payment processes.

• Utilize accounting software to streamline operations and maintain organized financial records.

• Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong skills in data entry and invoice processing.

• Ability to code invoices and manage approval workflows efficiently.

• Familiarity with billing procedures and document review.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
