    Description

    Our client in the HVAC sector is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their growing team on a contract-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals interested in working within the HVAC industry and making a meaningful contribution to business operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing

    + Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger integrity

    + Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets

    + Process payroll and support payroll compliance as needed

    + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking

    + Maintain company records in accordance with industry and regulatory requirements

    + Coordinate with external accountants for tax and audit purposes

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience, preferably in a service industry

    + Proficiency with bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Excellent verbal and written communication

    + Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

    Preferred Attributes:

    + Prior experience in the HVAC or construction fields

    + Associate degree or certification in accounting/bookkeeping
