Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Waukegan, Illinois. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in analyzing financial data, creating detailed reports, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough financial analyses to evaluate business performance and trends.

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.

• Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and forecasted results.

• Generate ad hoc financial reports to address specific business needs and provide valuable insights.

• Utilize data mining techniques to extract and analyze large datasets for actionable information.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create accurate budgets and forecasts.

• Implement and oversee standard costing methods to ensure consistency and efficiency.

• Apply cost accounting principles to assess and optimize company operations.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management through clear and concise reporting.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000

Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling, with a track record of delivering actionable insights.

• Strong proficiency in variance analysis and the ability to identify key drivers of financial performance.

• Expertise in creating ad hoc reports tailored to specific business needs.

• Familiarity with data mining techniques for analyzing large datasets.

• Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Knowledge of standard costing practices and their implementation.

• Background in cost accounting and its application in operational assessments.

• Advanced skills in financial tools and software, including spreadsheets and analytics platforms.
